I forgot to mention yesterday that I found a couple of to-die-for plates for a good deal (I often see them but they are a bit hefty pricewise), I wanted some more creamy/gold shabby plates to add to my collection that I will be dusting off now I am again a hostess lol! This is Meakin, lovely, lovely old English china – I love layering this old stuff on my white modern china, especially when it’s mis-matched but co-ordinating, and not bad for 2 bucks a piece.
