G'day beachy-loving bloggers
Just a quick post to let you know about a little bit of Beach Cottage Inspiration at my mood board – photos and pictures picked up along the way to inspire me to decorate with a casual laid-back decor.
It seems there are a lot of people out there liking the Beach Cottage look so where better to get inspiration than here at the Beach Cottage - a real one somewhere near the sea…
I started this blog to show my home, my attempts (good and bad) to turn this cottage by the sea into a beach home complete with all the limitations that comes with that, like kiddos, schedules, budgets (or lack thereof).
And I have had lots of people asking where I get the inspiration from? Well really for me it's just from around and about, ya know? For those of us who do not have the luxury of interior designers, copious amounts of tradies floating around for projects and heaps of cash to throw around I think the best thing for me is to find an idea/picture I like, have a go myself and wing it all the way…I've been successful and errrm, not so sucessful…
So come on over and browse my Inspiration Board, to get you inspired to whip out your paintbrush, zap everything you own with a whitewash and sand your floorboards – oodles of photos from all around – no there probably isn't any grungy teenagers or boys living in them, but hey every now and then we all need to dream…
