I just bought my first place, not a beach cottage on the outside (a condo in the burbs) but inside I have brought the beach. Your budget friendly ideas have so inspired me! They are beautiful. We moved further from the coast more to the country two years ago. I miss the solitude and the peacefulness of the beach.

I don’t live anywhere near the ocean, so when I see art like this, it makes my heart skip a beat. I believe I was meant to live by the water, but in every life there is a season. This is not that time. The dandelions on these photos as well look much nicer than the ones that grow here without hesitation. Gorgeous stuff!! The beach stirs so much for me and makes me feel it’s where I belong, so I try to keep reminders of it at home (which is not by the beach) to remind me, and let me know that the natural order is there even though at times life seems to be far from natural or have any order.
