Blog Linky Party Good Life Wednesdays & White Painted Bottles

beach cottage loveheart

G’day lovelies!

Hope you are all tickety boo?

Well, this morning the BC Crew went back to school and Mr BC went back to work, always bittersweet I think…by the end of the holidays I crave the structure that comes with school runs and activities but I miss the kicking back in pj’s til lunchtime and day trips exploring…and spending time with the children of course ;-)

This morning I have been putting the house back together after two weeks of not bothering, a mammoth task…

I started putting things on my new old dresser too…

and this is your first peak ;-)

These are some bottles I painted white stuffed with daisies, which may I add are on their last legs… I am loving these right now…cheap and cheerful and last for ages…

and a love heart that I bought in the UK

So that’s my Good Life Wednesday…enjoying routine, enjoying the simple things in life and of course, playing with white flowers and pretty things…

And by the way, a couple of you have messaged me about the rules etc for Good Life Wednesday…nope there aren’t really any but you can read more here on the do’s and don’t's and a link back to abeachcottage.com is required if you please…

Now let’s see what you’ve got this week…

  4. Oh My ! I so see your name all over that coffee filter lamp shade !!!

  5. Your pictures always bring a smile to my face :-) Have a great week!!

  6. Oh I looooove daisies! Especially white ones. :) My fabulously gay florist called me “cheap daisies” because I wanted those in my wedding with the roses, not the gerbera daisies. These look gorgeous! I’m loving the texture of the heart, too! (Not meant as a metaphor!)

  7. Your project looks so beautiful. I can tell you’ve taken the time to do a top notch job on it and the way it’s coming together is quite beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

  8. Your photography skills are amazing!

  9. I always love your style, Sarah! Your white is always so crisp and fresh and beautifully photographed.

  10. adore the ♡ ….. so nice….. :))))

I love the cheerful daisies… I’ll have to be on the look out for some around here.
Thank you for inspiring us all to celebrate the good life.

  13. Hardly anyone ever says “tickey boo” anymore!! My family had an entire conversation about that phrase, just the other day. ha ha

Love the flowers and love the heart!

  14. Hi Sarah
Thanks for hosting once again and loving that heart you have on your mantle.. beautiful..
Have a great wednesday.. ciao xxx Julie

  15. That dresser is starting to look real good! Can’t wait for the big reveal.
I hope you slip into your routines easily and quickly, as if they are a comfortable outfit you love to wear. Wishing you a very happy week!

  16. All looking so fresh!

We’re also back to school routine today so made the most of the extra long weekend, but now it’s back to Mt Laundry and sammie making days.

  17. I love all your beachy goodies Sarah! When is your shop reopening so I can check out your goods? Love the wicker heart. Did you paint the bottles yourself? I know a lot of people are doing that, I haven’t yet. I’d like to paint some in blue, pink and pale yellow. And of course white. Thanks for hosting, Marcia from Nor-Cal

  18. Lovely pictures, as always. You are just amazing at transforming old flowers into something beautiful.

On another note… there seems to be something weird with several of the blogs in the link party – I am getting a message that they contain code from “the cutest blog on the block” and that this may be spyware of some kind. I just wanted to let you know, but I guess it’s not something you can do anything about…

  19. Hi Sarah
I have been following along for some time and have finally joined the link party – apologies that I linked twice – was meant to link the Luna Park post but somehow did my easter table first – love your flowers, used the same on my easter table! Ok nice to be here in your link party finally. Leanne xx

  20. cute pics sarah….. I love daisies. my all time favourite flowers….. any type, I’m not fussy. Have you planted “seaside daisies” at your place? They grow fabulous and have the most delightful delicate tiny white & pale pink flowers…. they also self seed. I’m quite sure they would flourish in your garden :):)

  21. Love all the white! Looks so clean and crisp.

  22. Thank you so much for hosting the linky party!!! I adore your painted bottles…they are just so pretty…

  23. what gorgeous bottles and photos!!!! love your blog!

  24. So pretty. My friend just did that to thrift store vases to decorate a charity function.

  25. Love your site! It’s so beautiful. This is my first time linking up and I’m having trouble posting your button and linking back to your site. I copied the code and pasted it into my blog but it isn’t showing up. I’m still working on it. Just wanted to let you know.

  26. oh boy the daises are so pretty and also the bottles. Now tell me, what paint do you use on glass bottles??

  27. Can you share how you painted the glass bottles? What kind of paint? What method?

Is there a paint just for glass? Do you spray it on or use a brush?

    Thanks.

  28. I only just stumbled across your blog and I am hooked!
I don’t even have a house yet but now now exactly how I want it to look.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful idea.
