G’day Beach Cottage blog lovelies, well, you know that we are going through a cookie baking fest in Beach Cottage Land, and it’s a very good job that I now find myself doing sit-ups on my walks by the seac, because a home-baked, fresh out of the oven cookie, I cannot resist. Make that six.
It’s weird really because I was not really a lover of cookies – I prefer a more plain biscuit, hello Rich Tea, and I was never really sold on the whole chocolate chip cookie thing, nice, yeah, but, you know, I wouldn’t go overboard.
That was, of course, coming from Old Blighty where one does not have cookies in one’s blood and my opinion, ultimately, had been made from, gasp, cookies that come in a packet or those huge and overly sweet cookies that seem to sit on coffee-shop counters, often sprinkled with more sugary things and call your name when you are lining up for your espresso.
This one though is pretty rocking, small little tasty morsels of home-baked goodness…afternoon or morning tea, it doesn’t really matter which…these are pretty sweet though, but that kinda works, if you can stop at just one!
These are from Miss Beach Cottage and her cookie making experiments…

It really is easy as putting it all in a bowl and stirring with a wooden spoon if you don’ t have a KitchenAid, hello man in red suit, please make this a priority this year, I am being really good, not too much broomstick riding lately and I am giving you plenty of notice…
Oh and by the way, if you Instagram social media with me you’ll know this new Aussie girl is going Stateside
G’day Big Apple, how the devil are you? Haven’t been in town for a while.

cookies look yum…. but those little milk bottles are to die for… takes me back to my days at primary school when we had fresh milk delivered every morning…..were kids ever lactose intolerant in those days????

Hi Sarah!
I made these last night for my gorgeous partner and I can’t believe how easy they were to make! Given that there is only approximately half left in the tin, I think they are also incredibly easy to eat!!
