And so it begins Beach Cottage friends!
This was the start over the weekend to Christmas in our old cottage…
fairy lights, open windows and deep dark nights
love this time of year and making it special with simple things
we hoped to get our fresh Christmas tree too but they are not here yet!
I have a few new ideas this year for my decorating, but still keeping it very simple and not too much fuss

I’m only a few stretches of sand away from you and was wondering where you get your fresh tree from? I saw you and Barls recently at a sports event and think our boys are often in the same place at the same time – maybe even standing on the same starting line. i didn’t come and say hello as I felt like a bit of a stalker!

I get it from Harris Farm or there are a few florists that do them too

We have neighbours who go all out to decorate the exterior of their homes. I just love it. It brings a smile to my dial.
You also know it’s Christmas soon when you see your first set of car antlers as I did today. They’re SO bad they’re good. Mr alison has banned me from owning a pair.

I know I saw my fist pair of car antlers on a car yesterday…it was a Porsche 4 x 4 no less…haha so tacky but wonderful
Mr alison said not only would he disown me if I got car antlers but the my car’s manufacturer would confiscate my car. LOL. (I still want some.)
