Hello Barley from Piper and Annie in Oklahoma, USA. We have to agree with you on the air conditioner. We Scottish dogs just could not take an Oklahoma summer without it and thankfully for us, neither can our mom! It is also why our whole backyard is shaded by trees, even though trees get knocked about A LOT due to wind, wind, wild winds, ice, etc. Mom says she would never step foot out there without the shade of our big maples, oak, and river birches. Hang in there. We are finally enjoying our cooler weather around here. At least you can sport a schnazzy new hair-do. We Collies cannot be clipped. Try running in the sprinklers. It’s fantastic in the summertime. We do it everyday when it hits the 100′s and above :)
thank you Piper and Annie for the advice!
I quickly found the spot in front of the air conditioner and the wood floor was the coolest for me…my new haircut is super short and is helping a lot…
oh yes I do like the sprinklers if they are allowed to be on and there are no restrictions
love Barls
Looks a lovely napspot barls! Hope you had sweet dreams:)
Piper is wondering about all these goings on around here, too. Daddy was even on the roof putting up icicle lights. (My favorite is the outdoor Christmas tree all decorated in lights). Anyway, this is her first Christmas with us…she was only 4 weeks old and still in Colorado w/her mother and littermates last Christmas. We put the tree up and decorated last Sunday evening and we had to learn that tails shouldn’t wag so much near the tree. So far, all the ornaments have survived. Can’t wait to see her on Christmas morning with all the unwrapping. Ah, puppies!
oh yes me too – we are buying Barls Christmas gifts, it’s so exciting and I NEVER thought I would hear myself say that lol!
Hi Barls! It’s funny but it’s called a mad quarter of an hour in French. I wonder if it means French pets are calmer than Australian pets? I just had mine (mad quarter of an hour) which involved running up and down the stairs several times. I always do that when my human comes back home late… Because I’m so relieved she’s back!

Hi Handsome, love your hair cut.
I hope Santa brings you something special for Christmas :)

Dear Barley,
That bed of yours is very cottage-y. I’ve been looking for one as beach-cottage-y as this one for the cats (don’t growl, please) and couldn’t find one… Maybe I should just sleepcover an ugly one… What do you think?
Lookin good there Barls..xx
Glad to see my pooch isn’t the only one that can “hang” over the back of a couch like that! LOL They’re so sweet when they hang out like that. Who can resist those faces! Too cute.
